The Vijayanagara block alone houses a bathtub worth ₹36 lakh and a commode priced at around ₹12 lakh. According to Chandrababu Naidu, when these buildings were under construction, access to the area was tightly restricted, even for government and media personnel. The complex includes massive conference halls and vast corridors, adorned with imported marble, high-end furniture, and rooms with a perfect beach view. There’s even a 100-kilowatt substation and air conditioning that cools up to 200 tons, all allegedly at taxpayers’ expense. Naidu questions the intent of these constructions, adding that the lavish facilities are too excessive for any state dignitary, even the Prime Minister or President.
