Trump Faces Second Assassination Attempt

Published On: September 16, 2024 - Two hours after the attack on former US President Donald Trump, the FBI released a statement declaring that it was an assassination attempt. The shooter, Ryan Routh, a 58-year-old from Hawaii, was arrested. A backpack, a GoPro camera, and an AK-47 rifle were found at the spot. This is the second assassination attempt on Trump in just two months. The US is in election mode and will vote for its next President in November. Trump is the Republican Presidential candidate.
