Sam Pitroda Sparks Fresh Controversy with China Remarks

Pitroda claimed that China should not be seen as a threat and that the United States has exaggerated the India-China border dispute. His comments have once again put the Congress party in a difficult position. The BJP went all guns blazing at Pitroda,, alleging that his remarks reflect Congress’ anti-India mindset. BJP also accused Congress of having close ties with China, pointing out that Rahul Gandhi has echoed similar views during his visits abroad. BJP leaders further claimed that Pitroda’s statement was an insult to the soldiers martyred in Galwan. Facing backlash, the Congress was forced to distance itself from Pitroda’s comments. Party leader Jairam Ramesh took to social media to clarify that Pitroda’s views were personal and did not represent the party’s stance. He reaffirmed that China remains India’s foremost foreign policy, security, and economic challenge.
