Rekha Gupta says AAP is nervous due to tabling of CAG reports

Published on: February 21, 2025 - Less than a day into Rekha Gupta’s tenure as Delhi Chief Minister, AAP accused the BJP of breaking its poll promise. Former CM and AAP leader Atishi criticized the new government for failing to approve the ₹2,500 monthly allowance for women in its first cabinet meeting, despite Gupta’s assurance that the first installment would be credited by March 8. Dismissing Atishi’s remarks, Gupta urged her to focus on her own party instead of lecturing the BJP and claimed AAP was nervous about the tabling of 14 CAG reports. Meanwhile, in its first cabinet meeting on Thursday, the BJP government approved the implementation of the Ayushman Bharat health scheme.
