Underlining that the Quad leaders are meeting at a time when “the world is surrounded by conflicts and tension”, PM Modi said the grouping was “not against anybody”. This is seen as aimed at China’s aggressive behaviour in the Indo-Pacific. India is set to host the next Quad summit in 2025. How successful will be the QUAD grouping in containing China?
