PM Modi Reiterates India’s Solar Ambitions

On Day 1 of the three-day summit (6th-9th February), he reiterated India’s ambitions in the solar energy space. He said that while India’s solar installation capacity has increased by 20% in the last decade, a new scheme - PM Suryodaya Scheme - will lead to the installation of solar panels in 10 million households.
