Jharkhand Train Tragedy

Published On: July 30, 2024 - Tragedy struck early this morning when the Mumbai-Howrah Mail passenger train derailed in Jharkhand’s Seraikela-Kharsawan district. The derailment took place in the wee hours near Badabamboo, approximately 80 kilometers from Jamshedpur. At least two people were killed in the incident, with at least twenty others injured. Eighteen coaches of the train were affected in this accident, which took place under the Chakradharpur Division of South Eastern Railway.
