In his statement made to the police, Darshan has admitted to assaulting Renukaswamy. He has given details of how he tortured Renukaswamy and then paid Rs 30 lakh to get the matter buried. Darshan has also confessed to hitting Renukaswamy with his hands, kicking him in his head, neck and chest and even hitting his head on the car.
