Chandrababu Alleges Rs 19000 CR Liquor Scam by YSRCP

Published On: July 25, 2024 - Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has accused the former YSRCP govt led by Jagan Mohan Reddy of committing a Rs 19,000 crore liquor scam. Releasing a White Paper on the alleged Liquor scam, Naidu accused the YSRCP of monopolising liquor production and sales in the state, and of barring digital payments for liquor to have monetary benefits. The Andhra Pradesh government has ordered a CID inquiry into the scam.
