BLA Targets Chinese Convoy near Karachi International Airport days before the SCO Summit in Pakistan

The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) claimed responsibility, stating the attack targeted Chinese citizens, including engineers working on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects, which the BLA views as exploiting Balochistan's resources. This incident occurred just days before Pakistan is set to host the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit. The BLA’s Majeed Brigade, notorious for major attacks, targeted the convoy of Chinese engineers. The Chinese Embassy condemned the attack and called on Pakistan to strengthen security for its citizens.
